ENGAGEMENT AND APPRECIATION EVENT FOR FEMALE COFFEE FARMERS IN SON LA ON VIETNAM WOMEN’S DAY 20/10

On the occasion of the Vietnam Women’s Day on October 20, IWCA Vietnam organized an exchange event to express gratitude to the female coffee farmers in Chieng Ban commune, Mai Son district, Son La province.

IWCA Vietnam extends its deep appreciation to these women for their significant contributions to the development of the coffee industry in Vietnam.

Simultaneously, this event marked the conclusion of the “Make a Smile” campaign organized by IWCA Vietnam. We are delighted to have presented 44 sets of labor protection gear to the female farmers. Particularly, during the coffee harvesting season in October, ensuring safety and labor hygiene becomes even more crucial. We hope that these gifts will contribute to reducing occupational accidents and providing a safer working environment for these women.

IWCA Vietnam sincerely thanks all the organizations and individuals who have supported this meaningful campaign throughout. We look forward to continuing to receive community support to further spread positive values to women in the coffee industry.
