ENGAGEMENT AND APPRECIATION EVENT FOR FEMALE COFFEE FARMERS IN SON LA ON VIETNAM’S WOMEN’S DAY 10/20
To celebrate Vietnam’s National Women’s Day on October 20th, 2023, IWCA Vietnam organized a gift exchange event to express gratitude to the female coffee farmers in Chieng Ban commune, Mai Son district, Son La province.
IWCA Vietnam extends its deep appreciation to these women for their significant contributions to the development of the coffee industry in Vietnam.
Simultaneously, this event marked the conclusion of the “Make a Smile” campaign organized by IWCA Vietnam in 2023. We are delighted to have presented 44 sets of labor protection gear to the female farmers. Particularly now, during the coffee harvesting season in October, to ensure the women are safe and have adequate labor hygiene gear. We hope that these gifts will contribute to reducing occupational accidents and providing a safer working environment for these women.
