Follow-up visit “Occupational Safety and Health for Female Coffee Farmers” in Mai Son District, Son La Province

From December 21st to 23rd, 2023, IWCA Vietnam collaborated with expert Duong Van Hoai to conduct a pilot follow-up visit regarding vocational safety and health (OSH) improvements in 10 female coffee farmers’ household items in Son La province.

theThis activity is part of the “Empowerment and Development for Female Coffee Farmers on Workplace Safety and Health in Mai Son District, Son La Province” project within the framework of cooperation between IWCA Vietnam and the Starbucks Foundation.

Over three days, IWCA Vietnam and expert Duong Van Hoai attentively visited, observed, and assessed how situations have improved in each household. The enhancements aimed to elevate knowledge, skills, and awareness of OSH for female coffee farmers, thereby enabling them to work more efficiently and safely.
